How It Got Started
The Story
Sustainability. Veganism. Consciousness. The three themes of ‘Goodbye and a green leek’.
The account was created for ethical reasons and from the desire to inform so as to change concepts, perceptions, opinions, and principles, and turn pessimism into optimism and the gastronomic art into a sustainable and moral choice.
Mot-à-mot, the name translates as ‘Farewell and a green leek’ which is a Romanian saying depicting detachment from a person, thing, situation etc. Here, we abandon a certain lifestyle and meet the new ‘us’. The leek is on the house.
The change for the better is not difficult or too far away, it is in fact, right here.

“You can also commit injustice by doing nothing.”
Marcus Aurelius
Also the interpretation of Dante’s political philosophy: “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in a period of moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”

Hello and welcome to Adio și-un praz verde!
As a final-year law student, I consider that a legal career would not only fulfill my dream of becoming a solicitor but would also allay a tenacious desire for justice and sublimely complement my passion for the legal field. I am convinced that every step taken towards educating people about law leads to a society successful in achieving the ideal of harmony.
However, although my main interest is the way law influences the current legal, political, social, and economic global environment, I am aware of the duty to do our planet justice as well. Therefore, I started this project - the blog and its IG page - having a clear purpose in mind. I want to raise awareness of the current environmental issues by offering solutions, ideas, and advice to both people and businesses to become more sustainable and, subsequently, more caring about our planet.
